Lindemann DPM-SL

Regular use of DPM provides the greatest protection and minimum wear for diesel engines. DPM has been specifically developed for auxiliary 2- and 4-stroke engines and high-speed main engines. DPM contains small microscopic particles of Teflon (PTFE), which have a very low friction. The combination of specially treated Teflon particles and other anti-wear, anti-friction and anti-oxidation additives in DPM ensures lower fuel consumption, higher performance and minimal wear – even at high speeds and high loads.

Regular use of DPM reduces the amount of wear particles (metal) in the oil. DPM lubricates and protects the engine at temperatures well above what normal oil can withstand, which is especially important for turbocharged engines.

DPM-SL (STOP LEAK) has been developed to deal with oil leakage in the larger marine diesel engines in good condition. DPM-SL, added to conventional lubricants, will significantly reduce oil leakage and provide the highest level of protection for all types of marine diesel engines. DPM-SL revitalizes the elasticity and sealing capacity of gaskets and oil seals.

Dosage and use
1 liter of DPM is good for 32 liters of engine oil. Replace oil and oil filters and let the engine run until it is warm, then turn the engine off. Shake the DPM bottle well and add the additive to the oil. The engine must then be restarted and run for at least 15 minutes. New or completely refitted engines must run for 50 hours before they can be treated with DPM.
